Bristol Humane Society unveils renovated wellness clinic offering affordable pet care

Pet owners in the Bristol area now have expanded options for routine and non-emergency veterinary care with the opening of the Bristol Humane Society’s newly renovated wellness clinic.

The clinic is offering veterinarian-led wellness appointments, including annual exams and vaccinations. It will also see pets for non-emergency illnesses such as allergies and ear infections.

The goal is to provide affordable care to more pets in the area and help reduce the number of animals that end up in shelters.

“We always said we wanted to be able to do more and we’re starting that by expanding our wellness hours,” said Christy Morrison of the Bristol Humane Society. “You see, before it was all in one and so we had to kind of share different spaces. Now that wellness has its own dedicated space, we can run full speed ahead and with a full staff.”
